Serious EMAIL question!!??

So every time I open an email and then walk away from my phone, when I go back to read the message its gone ,vanished no longer on the phone or in my GMAIL anyone else have this issue? I dont know what to do its almost making me want to not check my email messages on my phone! Any help, any ideas?

just checked my hotmail all my emails are in there ??? WTF???

think i fixed it .....move along nothing to see here lol
