Setting icons on lock screen

Can anyone get the WhatsApp or any third party icons to appear on the lock screen in the new build , they won't save for me

Have you done this before ? You only get notifications on the lockscreen and that too when you have selected the app from lockscreen settings. The 'icon' for them only appears when there is a notification pending.

I know how they work, they are just broke on the last 2 builds
