Have Windows 8.x Desktop and want to share desktop backgrounds with WP 8.x,?
Easy to do :
1) Download the theme you want on the Windows 8.x Desktop machine (or tablet). To do this Right click on the desktop (when in windows 8 desktop mode), select Personalise, click "Get more Themes", find what you like and download it, clicking save. Once downloaded open the location it saved in and click on the Windows theme pack file to install it.
2) Copy the downloaded them to your OneDrive location (I put them into Pictures\Wallpapers)
Windows 8.x stores the themes here C:\Users\{user id}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\{name of theme}
3) On Windows Phone go to Navigation bar > All settings > Start+theme > chose Photo and navigate to the OneDrive location.
4) Select the picture you want, select the part of the picture you want and your all done !
Now the Desktop and Phone can be the same.
(PS - should also work for Android Phones and Tablets in their method for selecting a background theme) as long as you have OneDrive installed.
