Hi Guys

I'm new to the forum, so I thought by way of introduction I would share with you all the handsets I've owned since my first phone in Highschool to my current phone today.

Apologies if there is already a thread like this, but after a few minutes searching i couldn't find it.
Current Phone History.jpg

My phone's parents were immigrants from eastern Europe. They came to America very poor. They panhandled until they could afford a small bakery in a poor neighborhood. The Mrs wanted a baby, so my phone was born. He listened to his parents and got good grades at school. He was drafted in Vietnam. That war did terrible things to my phone. He was never the same since he got back. He lives his life quietly in my pocket and on my dresser. He's a bit of a drunk, since he guzzles down electricity pretty quickly. I like my phone, he's a good friend of mine.

That's the history of my phone.

Hahaha! very well said, of course if your phone was a Nokia then he would have had very little to fear from vietcong bullets. the ricochets would have been more dangerous to them than to him. of course nothing could have prepared him for the horror of holding his best buddy in his arms and watching the battery indicator drain to zero through a shattered screen, or the cold and hostile reception he received when he made it back home, only to find that he was now out dated and unwanted.

2007-2008 First two phones (we switched carriers a few times) looked something like this. I don't remember the brand or model, it was years ago: http://i.imgur.com/5tTVA6Z.jpg
2008-2010 First phone I really remember. An excellent device, I loved this phone: http://i.imgur.com/Dd3KLJg.jpg
2010-2012 The worst dumbphone on the planet. Inspired my lifelong hatred of Samsuck: http://i.imgur.com/UWcUdSQ.jpg
2012-Current My inc2. Look in the Android subforum for the story behind this one: http://i.imgur.com/c692crA.png

My first was a Nokia 3310 and yes, I was pretty late to the game. After that it gets fuzzy, but I remember buying a Qtek 7070. Then I went through most of thepredecessors and once I had a Qtek 9000. This was followed by a HTC HD and then I skipped the HD2 and bought a Samsung Omnia 7, a Nokia Lumia 800, a Samsung Omnia W and now I use a HTC 8X.
