If your going for a phone which has a better cam then go for 830.. There are lots of cam apps like Lumia camera, camera360sight,oneshot, and others

yes.thera are tons of camera apps for windows phone.

1st your asking on a WINDOWS Phone forum :)

Me.. I am old school.. two boys..not girls :((( so we never got a mobile phone till about 1y ago. It was android. Have Android tablets. Just about 2 weeks ago got this 830. Just wanted something other then Android. Camera apps? Going to have to go with Android. Apps alone is like night and day between the two in favor of Android.

Our other phone is HTC so my son LOVES the camera on that slomo and what not yet the 830 for me is WAY better camera. I do find MORE camera apps for Android then Windows Phone. This is just me. And we dont take tons of pictures so.. ME...ME if I was to have a choice for cameras on a phone I would go with Android so many different ones to choose from. No expert here lol.. just Micorsoft ALWAYS does something to shoot themselfs in the foot

From a raw hardware perspective, while the Nexus 5 is otherwise much better equipped, there is no question the 830 will blow it away.
the Nexus 5 is known for its value, but relatively poor camera. (which isn't bad per se, but you're comparing it to one of today's best midrange cameras here)

The 830 is much better equipped from a hardware standpoint with a focus on the camera and has one of, if not the best camera app for normal and advanced phototaking. (as in you have manual controls in easy reach)

Windows Phone may not have the raw number of apps available to it, but its photography chops, from the various Lumia lenses like Refocus to Cinemagraph to other apps like ProShot, you wont be lacking for creative options in this department.
