Should I hard reset +restore on WP8.1 DP?

Ever since updating to WP8.1 and lately GDR1 I've been experiencing lag in general around the OS, in apps and rendering issues on Start on my 1020. I was just wondering if anyone had hard reset and kept on the Dev Preview and noted any performance improvements? Also if anyone has restored their phone from a backup, I'm curious to know what is restored. Cheers!!

Look in the 1020 forums and see what folks are saying. In general people are finding better success with hard reset + restore. But before you do that please take a look at the 1020 device forums. Good luck.

I have, but I've also noted some owners of other devices have similar issues, so I'm just wondering if anyone else has has had any success/their results with restoring from a backup

Now that the official update is out, you might want to give that a try first.

I hard reset mine. It is so much better. Your tiles and everything you back up will populate back where you left it.

Did you enrol back on the DP afterwards? Just trying to figure out whether it's the DP causing stutters or the lack of optimised firmware for WP8.1 (I'm on Black)
