Should microsoft create an app similar to Mobile Connect from Dell?

It’s a huge convenience to be able to respond to text messages, view and accept incoming calls and see incoming phone notifications right from your computer, and that's exactly what dell is planning to deliver through Mobile Connect app. I have used similar functionality when I had MacBook pro and I really enjoyed it. Should Microsoft make similar apps for all PCs and make it a standard functionality in upcoming windows versions?

It would not surprise me if the new Connected PCs include the messaging app for sending and receiving SMS through the PC cellular module. You can of course link Cortana on a desktop to an Android phone to send via the phone today.
