Should Microsoft Stick to Budget Phones ($300 &below)?

I beg to differ, innovative marketing is shown to work. If Microsoft can think of itself as a mere start up and battle it out. Another example is the One plus one.

Innovative marketing would work for all companies except Microsoft. The media takes even the most positive stories of Microsoft and makes them negative. So again Microsoft needs the word of mouth. For word of mouth you need flagship phones. OnePlus phones are affordable flagship phones. That's why they still get the nice treatment. Well that and they're Android phones. If they sell a Windows Phone their WP devices will be marked as DOA. And endlessly bashed.

That is a good point but you are catering to a high end market. What happens to the majority of those who cannot afford a high end? We need to look at the two sides of the spectrum. You cannot depend on one spectrum.

That is what the 550 etc are for. We're not saying go high end only. We're saying have high end phones as an option. If ya can't afford the flagship, no problem! We have more affordable phones for you to choose from. Android has things like the Samsung Galaxy S6 as its hero phones but plenty affordable options if you can't afford it. So why isn't Windows Phone allowed a hero phone if it has budget phones to go with it?
