The new iPod Nano has the award winning polycarbonate style body design that the Lumia series are famous for and i am ashamed to say they are making it look like s**t. So should they get a taste of their own medicine?

Well they made the white front really tacky and ugly. Also this does show styling of the old iPod Mini.

My first thought was that it looks like a Lumia though, but ugly.

It's painful to ever give Apple credit, but the Lumias look like the iPod Nano 2nd gen from 2006.

Nokia has the industry strongest patent portfolio and is getting hundreds of millions from licensing every quarter. Though reason why Nokia's R&D spending are 3-4 billion euros every year is that Nokia actually is the majority holder of some heavy R&D stuff like LTE, antenna designs, how to manufacture them and so on.
There Nokia should be compensated, like they are by Apple and everybody else, but on design like this, meh. I rather leave that bickering for Apple.

I'm just more happy that i have seen twitter feed and blogs full of comments like "isn't that direct copy of Nokia Lumia's?".

I hate litigation so I don't think they should sue, however, they have a golden opportunity here to shame Apple and make the claim that Apple is copying them so people see the superiority of the Lumia design. :P

with as much money as apple has, and their stock just skyrocketing while Nokia's is dropping... it might not be wise to mess with Apple. And i do agree that the older Nanos may have beaten Nokia to the lumia look
