Should you wait for the Surface Phone or buy a Lumia 950 now?

Now that Microsoft is starting to sell it's remaining Lumia stock, a new question has arisen from the ashes that is Windows phone: "Should I buy a Lumia 950 now or wait for the Surface Phone?" Of course, the answer to this question depends on many variables, so let's run through them and decide together.*

Wait for what? All I've seen are rumors of a Surface phone. One such rumor has it delayed until mid 2017.Another rumor has it going the way of the McClaren phone; RIP.

It may be 6 - 9 months before such a phone becomes available; if it does at all. I would say you should take what's available now and see what the future brings. That leaves you with 3 known entities; 950, 950 XL and the new HP X3.
