Sign in options gone!

On the lock screen the "sign-in options" link is gone, meaning that I can't use a pin to log onto my Surface, does anyone know how I can get this back?

Reboot your computer

Go to settings, sign in options and remove and re-add the PIN. Should work after that. I would use the forgot my pin option.
