Silly question but realistic....

I love this phone!! I currently have the 1020 and enjoy it but haven't been using the camera not even close to as much as I thought I would! My question is for the occasional pictures even low light, are pics and videos that bad? Again I don't use my 41mp too often and im not a huge photography nerd and when I do take pics its 99% in lighted areas. I'm a realist and view this phone as more a business/internet/phablet, great for grad school too! But I just keep reading of bugs on this forum and sorta turns me away but for those who had or have the 1020 and now this what are your impressions? Is it that buggy? i guess the 1020 forum is just as bad so i need to take it with a grain assault, Thank you!!!

It really isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. People just assumed it would be better, or just as good, at low light photography as the 920 and 1020. naeem151287 gives a pretty good explanation of why it's this way in this post: http://forums.windowscentral.com/no...-lumia-1520-low-light-images.html#post2312063

The picture is a bit noisier, but still very good in low light.

Hi, I have the 1020 as well and the camera is phenomenal! I've had no issues. Used it to take some macro (I think they are called) and was very impressed with the quality. I even used it to photo Christmas lights, playing with the settings, which was rather fun.

I'm not sure what issues people have had, I do think you just have to play with it. It beats my old iPhone 4!

Yes, pictures are nice on the 1020 thats for sure! I just don't use the camera enough to justify it.
