Silly question please

My wife is wanting to try a windows 8 phone so I'm getting her a used AT&T 925, her big question is "is there any app that will let her use emoji in text messages, like in iPhone or Android? I haven't owned a windows phone in years.

There are a ton of emojis in Windows Phone. They will even appear after you type certain words, like �� phone �� call ��.
Edit: unfortunately the forum doesn't display them =\

It's included by default.

On the WP Keyboard, there's a smiley key. Within are tons of emoji and emoticons.
(If you want more, I personally recommend downloading the Japanese QWERTY Keyboard.)
