Sim free 920 from phones4U

Has anyone bought a sim free lumia 920 and used it on any network other than orange/t-mobile/EE successfully?
Wondering how true these rumours of it being locked are.

It's locked. I've seen numerous post stating they have tried other SIM cards with no success.

You can also use it with a Virgin Mobile sim apparently, as this uses the EE network. Not sure if they'll be able to unlock it for you after a set time though like Orange/T-Mobile.
