Since downloading Windows 10 I cannot attach things to emails

I work for my local council and use office outlook to access my work emails, but since downloading Windows 10, I now cannot attach anything to emails. I click on the attach button a green circle of dots goes around but then that's it. I used to get an option to choose the document or picture that I want to attach.i have tried a fix from another post using sfc prompt command, but that did not work. Any ideas.
