Size and burst mode question

All of my photos are taken in burst mode now. How do I turn off burst mode? Also, my latest photos were 800 x 448 pixels. Where's the setting to increase this? They used to be bigger. I'm using the "Camera" app that came with my phone and was updated with 8.1.

Hey you can not change the resolution of images captured by burst mode.

Yes...
Tap on the camera when camera is open to return to single photos only.

Oh, that makes sense. I assume it worked, but I don't know how to view image information so I won't know the size until I upload it to my computer.
