Sky News UK app suddenly stopped working?

Sky News app been working great until today, suddenly reporting that 'no top stories are available. check your data connection'?
Data connection fine, Sky Sports app working as normal.

Wonder if it's anything to do with their main site overhaul?
Anyone else who has the app experiencing the same problem?

Yes, I'm having the same issues. Been like it for several hours

I'm having the same issue on both 3G and WiFi connections.

Hopefully it's a temporary issue.

The Sky Sports app hasn't been working properly for weeks now either, I honestly believe that Apple have done a deal with Sky to mess up our apps so that people move over to iphone and its nearly working with me....if you cant beat them join them (In smartphone terms not general values in life)

I have just emailed the sky news team, hopefully it's just a temporary glitch.

As for the apple version, I've got an iPad Air and the app isn't that great on that either. Though there is a second app for sky subscribers, which I'm not.

They've just updated their website today, so I guess they forgot about the WP app!!!

Well it seems to me that Sky News have 'killed' this app after their last mainstream website update.
