640 XL
OS Build: 10.0.10586.107

I am unable to show myself to others via Skype (video not working). The button says the camera is on (e.g. I get options like "Switch Camera" or "Turn off"), but there is no picture of me whatsoever (not to the ones I Skype either, they cannot see me).

When I Skype other people, their video feed is very zoomed in on my screen. A simple google search shows that many other Windows Phone users experience this zoomed in problem as well.

How can I fix these things? Getting my camera to work during Skype conversations, and "un-zoom" other people's picture?
Are there any other people here facing these same problems?

Edit:

I just upgraded to version .164 but the camera will still not turn on when using Skype. This is very disappointing.

Edit: After a quick reboot it worked.

HOWEVER, the other person's picture is still zoomed in on my screen. I never had this problem on my old Galaxy S2.

I do have the zoomed in picture problem. But front camera works fine during calls.
Had the problem on 8.1 as well.
I think its the app. Because while using wechat, there is no zoom in problem like skype.

I have not yet found a solution to this problem by the way.

How do one update apps on the phone? Or see whether your apps are up to date?
