Skype slow over cellular connection

When I use Skype over cellular connection (2G, 3G, sometimes 4G) it is really slow at loading new messages, or simply loading the contact list

Anybody else having this problem? why is Skype so freaking slow at simple tasks????

Check if you are on the latest version because it's fine for me

OP, Skype totally sucks for me on my 928 over cellular or WiFi, unfortunately. All kinds of weird problems and delays that I never had on my BlackBerrys.
