Slow charging after 8.1 latest update on lumia 620

After latest update 8.1 preview for developers, it seems that my lumia 620 charging at a slower rate. I'm using the original charger from nokia. Before the update my phone would be fully charged for 2 hours at most. But now, it takes more than 2 hours. I'm not sure whether the charger or the phone update itself causing this problem. Anyone having this issue after the latest update 8.1 preview for developers?

Yes even I think so, thats why I did reset my phone yesterday. Also my SMSes are not getting restored from the last backup.
Now I have a new surprise: No whatsapp on Windows Phone . Are you kidding me?

No, I tried hard resetting my phone 3 times, doesnt fix the text issue. I am not having battery issues btw. I so miss my text messages Lol using urls to add them from the my home.

So, did the hard reset solve the problem?
