Slow Microsoft 640 XL

[Windows Central Question]

I just bough a Microsoft 640 XL. I installed all the apps I wanted and then upgrade from Windows 8.1 to 10. I think it's too slow... mostly when I open Whatsapp. I read that peoplo who upgrade the OS should backup data and reset it to get better performance, but I'm unsure if it's really helpful. Is there something else to try?

A hard reset is surprisingly helpful.

If you can afford not to restore it would be better.

Not always, but if you run into issues then a hard reset usually fixes them.
