Slow ring to fast ring?

Hi guys,

I just installed windows 10 mobile insider preview on my Lumia 830 last night. But the build number of the preview is 9941.12498 which has been released since January..

So I want to change the update cycle to fast ring. Is there any way to do that without restoring back to wp 8.1?

I think if you reinstall the Insider app, you can redo the process selecting the Fast Ring.

You should be able to just run the Windows Insider app again, and this time, choose "Insider Fast". Then check for phone updates.

Couldn't hurt to try.. I've never chosen the slow ring, so I really don't know if you'll get the latest build this way or not.

Thank you for your advice. I tried it but the app couldn't be opened. I will delete it first and install it and try. Thanks anyway

Somebody please answer this. The fast ring insiders got the latest build. And they told people to roll back to 8.1 before upgrading to the latest build. I haven't tried out anything yet and I am curious, if I sign up for the slow ring, whenever a new build is released, do I have to roll back to 8.1 just like the fast ring insiders?
