SMS Counter

Is there a way to know the number messages(sms) sent/received, usually called as SMS counter, on the WP.???

Thanks for the response nlarue. I used the app earlier and it the user to call/send sms only through the app so that it can count them. I was just wondering why MS dsnt give access to such basic features nor does itself provides us the option.

Maybe it will show up in WP8.1. Keep in mind that WP8 is fairly basic in most things.

I guess I don't think much about SMS or other things as I have an unlimited plan.

Some phone contracts restrict the user to a certain amount of sms messages per billing period. The data sense feature doesn't include SMS message usage.

No worries, mate. Every WP8 can be upgraded to 8.1. Read it somewhere here in WP Central.
