SMS on Nokia Lumia 822 on T-Mobile

At my house SMS works fine. At my work it doesn't on T-Mobile. I am unable to download Access Point from the store. Any issues how to install it on a Verizon Lumia 822 working on T-Mobile? I really like this phone and want this to get sorted out....

Solved the problem. Just go to Settings / Cellular / Highest Connection Speed and choose 3G. If you leave it LTE (Verizon default) SMS works only in refarmed T-Mobile LTE areas - at my house no problem, at work a bit of a problem. At the house the signal shows H+ and at work signal shows H, so changing it to 3G defaults to HSPA on T-Mobile and SMS works now.

Hope this helps a few folks trying to make a Lumia 822 work on T-Mobile!

Update: 3G sometimes works and sometimes does not. 2G works all the time. Playing with every possible APN setting Cellular or Access Point does not work. I have tried all combination. So long story short. When you want to SMS on a Lumia 822 on T-Mobile, go to Settings/Cellular/Highest Connection Speed and choose 2G. Might want to pin this on the screen for quick access.

A little late on this but could be taking my 822 to Tmobile soon. So you can't have a 4G connection and send/receive text messages? Sounds like a total pain, no?
