why nokia lumia dun have sms ring tone ?

U can change the tone played for new sms/ im, if that's what U R asking.

Its under settings > ringtones & sounds.

Works on the lumia 820, unlocked version

You can not change the sms tones only ringtones at this time. Hopefully it will be implemented in the next update.

It is possible to change the ringtone used for SMS, as long as one selects a preinstalled ringtone. Custom-made ringtones cannot be used for SMS at this point.

indeed, i miss the freedom to change any tone for any ring-message- or notification.

Custom SMS tones are possible on GDR3 due in Q1 of 2014.
