SMS/ Txts received time is different?

Whenever i receive a text it is set as a different time, like my time on the phone would say 7pm it would say the time i received a txt is 12pm , how do i make them both the same time zones?

Haven't seen this with my surround but I did experience it sometimes on my old Tilt 2. Never did figure out what caused it. Maybe a bad timestamp on the message or the phone having the wrong time.

Double check your date & time settings.

My HD7 does this when I don't have the date & time settings set to automatic. Since I'm in Arizona we don't observe DST and with the time changed, for some reason my phone tried to group me in Mountain time with everyone else. So I manually set it to Arizona time and once a day switched it to automatic and back. Now that time has changed back though, I have left it set on automatic.
