So does the surface 2 or pro have GPS?

So I was pretty sure it didnt, then I was in the MS store in Berlin and the guy told me it DOES have GPS, this is pretty much the only thing thats stopped me buying one!

The Surface 2 with LTE does have one but not the original surface / 2 , you can try nokia tablet which does have

Surface 2 without LTE does not have GPS. It tries to determine your location via wireless cells though. It is, of course, not as precise as GPS.

I think the LTE version will have. Same as the iPad wifi doesn't but lte does.

Thats what I thought but the guy in the MS store was saying the original Surface 2 Pro DOES have GPS, I was pretty sure it didnt!

In that case I will wait for the LTE version, its annoying as I dont care about LTE but do want GPS

was looking for a pro to be honest plus living in NL options are limited, at least the surface I can by on the MS store here

Windows 8 devices without LTE will pull GPS coordinates when tethered to a device with Internet Sharing though. To a Windows Phone at least, not sure about Android or iPhone.
