So I could be moving to Android...

So, having had the offer from Phones4U, I've decided I'm going to put my money either on the HTC One, or the Nokia EOS. Naturally, I'm going to wait for the EOS to drop before I spend my hard earned cash, but I'm hoping that Carphone Warehouse gets the EOS (I prefer CPW insurance to P4U insurance). So yeah, I could potentially end up dropping off the radar here. My Danish lass has already decided no WP for her, she's chosen the S4 as her next phone, but I'm wanting to give Nokia one last chance.

I see where you wrote Elop and say they are going to fix your phone. Care to bring us up to date?

Yes. Further to the response from Elop saying he was going to get one of his team to look at my case, I received a phone call from Nokia about an hour later (American caller ID... WTF?) and the guy is taking personal charge of my case and will be ringing me again tomorrow to get my ID and tracking number. It will be going to the Nokia repair centre in the UK (not a care store repair), and he will ensure I am kept in the loop throughout the repair. He is taking personal charge of my case as well.

Glad to hear it. I guess the posts about emailing Elop paid off. In a way it's a shame it has to go that far to get some satisfaction. But it's good to see someone high up get involved and keep customers happy.

Your Danish Lass? Is this one of the three or four Lasses you have posted a picture of? What happened to the Minnesota Lass you were going to spend the summer with? Is she still in the running? Or is this a totally new Lass? Maybe you're going through too many Lasses?

I have a Nexus 4 running Android 4.2.2, they are cheap through Google. Now what can a S4 do that a Nexus 4 can't? The S4 is about twice the price of the Nexus 4.

Nah, never met the Danish lass (yet, we're working to change that though).

Nope, her and I split up ages ago. We just never stopped arguing. I mean literally, we would have about 10 arguments a day, every day. We just couldn't cope anymore.

Or is this a totally new Lass? Maybe you're going through too many Lasses?

Not totally new, I have known her for 5 years, but this will be the second time we're getting together, as we're both working to try and overcome the distance issue.
