that's what I'm scared of. Is them throwing 7.5 out once 8 comes out

we know we will get an update and it may not have all features of W8 but i would be happy with 80% of what W8 provides

Or

Just fix the little stuff (more apps), screen shot, etc to catch up to the other OS.

I highly doubt they will not update the lumia 900..

I was loitering in an AT&T corp store holding my 29 day old Lumia with box contemplating an exchange for an HTC One X. They didn't have one in stock. I thought about it and reminded myself the fondness of my old Nokia phonrs I've had.

I have high hopes for Nokia and the WP ecosystem. Hope it pans out, if not maybe back to Android. But right now I'm keeping the Lumia!

I returned my 900 for the other one x this week at day 28. The camera on the 900 was a real pain point for me. And I do worry MS is going to F--- things up with the transition to Apollo. The one x has a NICE camera..... But that's about it.. It has wifi issues (doesn't like to hold onto a signal, or with weak signal will not let go of the wifi for cellular data but will keep looping trying to latch onto the wifi) and the rest of the user experience really isn't very good.

I have an android tablet which I like alot, and so I thought I'd be able to tolerate android on a phone while waiting for Apollo and phones with better cameras to launch.. I know the titan 2 has a good camera, but it seems nokia is bringing so much more to the table and adding better value to their handsets, except for the surprisingly crappy (perhaps more rightly, inconsistent?) camera.

Anyway at this point I think I'll be selling the one x and coming back to WP. It's just such a better experience for me. Don't think I can hold out till the fall. I might try and hold out till June and we know more on the Apollo releases, but don't know. You never know what you've got til its gone.

Yea. I agree. Went to da store and looked at the one x and I found it hard to scroll. And the Internet scrolling was just to horrible and complex. I like wp becuase it's smooth and stuff. But adding a skin on android is just pathetic. It makes the phone carry a lot of weight for the os

I'm done with Android. I'm hoping WP develops into a great platform and brings tons of more features with future updates.

The last straw for me with Android is the serious OS fragmentation. Were in the verge of Google IO and there are still devices that haven't been updated to ICS, blame who you may but the ultimate cause for this was Google letting manufacturers run a muck with the Android OS. I was a big advocate of openness but now Android opened up my eyes that that's always not good for the users. With WP OS you get the same experience across the board with any device or carrier.

As far as the One X, sense sucks, you can have it and most of us have moved on.

Forget ICS, it would be nice if they were to bring their phones to just Gingerbread.

Troll alert. You know the people on here are just as bad trashing the other operating systems as you are about promoting your own. When Windows phone comes out with enough memory (32 GB min), a higher resolution display,LTE, and all the apps I use on my Android phone (there are a lot with no equivalents on WP7 - if you want I can list them) on Verizon then I will at least put it on the list to consider for my next phone purchase (some time this year). Until then, it is not even a consideration (and for those of you wondering I have been a Microsoft user/fan since the 80s and have been very disappointed with the lack of a competitive offering on Verizon). By the way, my Android device has worked very well, easy to use even though it is "only" a Gingerbread device and while I'm looking forward to Ice Cream Sandwich I'm not counting on getting it. I also happen like the "Sense" skin on my HTC Droid Incredible 2.
