Technically, can't you charge a phone with Qi wireless charging on an induction cooktop? My friend put his GS4 on an induction cooktop once and it started to "charge"

Turns out...Not So Cool. lol.
The back story if you haven't heard, someone started a rumor that the Iphone 6 could charge in the microwave but you can't keep it in there for more than 3000 seconds. Some people tried it.

Yes that is actually true. At least it works with the right combination of stove and phone.

This was HILARIOUS & so TRUE

On a serious note, this would work on over 50% of iPhone current users (you could tell them something preposterous works on their phone & they'd try it). The sheep need to follow something (not talking about any particular fanboys) so if everybody has it, it must be good (& so on & so on & so on ...)

Currently, this mentality works in reverse regarding Windows Phone ....
