soft reset lead to battery jump by 30%

so i did a soft resit(hold down power and volume down. incase this isn't a soft reset and i called it wrong) but i did that when my phone was at about 34%(maybe 43% i just know it was a good bit under 50%) and when it turned back on i noticed my phone was at 64%. something like this happen to anybody else? or any idea why this happened

I don't know but yesterday I restarted my phone and I too saw a boost in my Lumia 920 battery. it was at 71% and after the reboot it jumped to 89% :0

If you then turn your phone on and off, it will go down a bit then quickly drain back to where it was. This is the CPU recalibrating the battery monitor.

but I was listening to some old music :wink: CPU didn't have much impact on battery life though it was back to 60% in an hour :amaze:
