Some issues with Cortana

I'm from Italy and I have a Lumia 930 (no brand). I have both the developer preview and the last week firmware and software updates. I tried to set my phone both to USA and UK and I still can't get Cortana to appear... Any suggestions?

Move to UK and get the real deal. She is amazing and learns all about you really quickly. The Quiet Hours app really stops all the intrusions apart from SOS messages from family etc.
Can't wait for Denim Update next month, to get the truly interactive HEY CORTANA facility.

Just looking at the Quiet hour part. Can't find a way of turning off the 930 whilst it's sat on it's charging plate next to my bed. It was annoying me last night with emails coming though. Old iPhone 5 could be turned off whilst charging, seems the 930 can't??

So noticed Quiet hours whilst playing with settings this morning - set it from 11pm to 7am. Hope this works and keeps any lights/beeps and general notifications off whilst i sleep [2 young kids so tend to be in bed for 11!!!!]

You have to set Speech AND Keyboard AND Region AND Language over US-English.
