One thing that has really impressed me in the past couple months is the app TubeCast. We have an apple tv and a chromecast in my house, and now I'm able to use both because of this app. The rest of my family (half apple people, half google people) are pretty impressed because they are all limited to their own casting device, while I'm not. But I still feel very limited. What I'm wondering is: Why on earth does windows phone not have airplay and screen mirroring integrated more tightly into the OS. There's so much potential! And I know we have Project My Screen which works pretty well on my Roku, and also multiple 'Beamer' apps, but those are all pretty annoying to use. I hope with Windows 10 phone version, we are able to have all of our casting and airplay needs met by the Os, not by apps. With TubeCast, I'm only able to cast videos IN THE APP. I want to be able to cast and mirror as fast as any Apple device, without being restricted to an apple tv. I feel like WP 8.1 could have had this for a while now.
