Sound quality

Hi guys i'm new on the forum,i like very much the wp os its very smoother and very nice.My dad has an lumia 820 and the sound quality its good,its near as loud as my n73 me but the lumia had more clarity.But i want to get a new phone,what should i get for sound quality?lumia 820 or ativ s?I had heared people that ativ s its very good at music from the speaker,i'm not interesed the sound from the earphones,i wanna know if you can help me with this,which phone sound quality its better?better mean not distorsioned sound and loud.Thank you.

It's good and the best part is speaker is placed adjacent to USB pott..so no matter how you keep the phone...upward facing or downwards...the music is loud n clear

Welcome on board.
If you can get the Lumia 520 or 521 models either one is loud and clear without using earphones.

The Lumia 820's speaker is loud enough but it distorts at full volume (I kept my phone at 22/30). Certainly not for an audiophile or you.
The 620 while loud, is just the worst as it's the only phone that distorts a lot in full volume (in my experience). It's even worse than my 820.
Not sure of 520/525 but it probably is better than both 620 and 820.
