Sound Volume bar not working

Recently i noticed that, randomly the volume bar is not respondig. it shows volume lowering, but the music does not actually reduces volume.. please help

Does the volume decrease after fraction of a second? or does not decrease at all.

that was a very old bug as far as i remember, restarting the mob fixes it
i think it disappeared after firmware upgrade Oo

yes its updated..... recently i updated to lumia amber and still it hasnt gone

it was not there in the beginning... recenlty i noticed this bug and the current firmware version is 3046.0000.1329.2001

i own Lumia 720 and also have this problem and it is not resolved after amber.
You have to set volume to a level and then skip to next song, then the song will be played at that level.
You can also restart phone, it works temporarily for 2-3 days.
My 5 friends also have this problem owning 520,620,720,820.I think all sets of india have this problem.

i know they will do nothing, they will restart your phone and from their view, problem is solved. I know many people who went to service center and nothing is solved.

The service centre will give a job sheet regarding the problem and what they did to resolve it (temporarily or permanently). So when this problem reappears, the job sheet can be shown to them and they will know what they had performed the first time. So they will do something else this time. Patience is required with service centre people.
