Spanish keyboard stuck on preparing to download

Hi I have an 820 and love it, I convinced my aunt to buy it and she loves it as well!! The only problem is when we tried to download the Spanish keyboard, all it says "preparing download" and it doesn't move from there. Its been like 3 weeks and it is still stuck. Anyone have any thoughts or solutions? I have a feeling a factory reset might be the solution but wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and what they have done to fix it. I tried different languages and it does the same thing. Thanks in advanced!!

Have you tried a soft reset? Do this by holding in the volume down button and power button until you feel the phone vibrate. If this does not work a hard reset may be in order.

If restarting the phone does not work:
- ensure the phones is not connected to your PC via USB
- remove then hanging install by tap and hold and selecting remove and add it again.
- you might have to go to Settings, Phone Update to start the update

Can you please clarify. I have the same issue with Romanian Language.
The steps are not very clear.
I tried the soft reset, with no success on the matter.

After downloading the language which you needed, check for updates in settings>> update
1) go to settings -> keyboard..
2) add keyboard (choose your language).. {now it will show preparing download}
3) then go to settings->> phone update
4) there will be an update ready to download..
5) download your update and install it like regular phone update...
