Speakers crackling at high volume

Hey guys I just picked up an open box dell venue 8 pro and the speakers tend to distort at volumes greater than 85 90 or so. Is anyone having this problem? Just wondering if mine is defective.

Show a 2 mm speaker that doesn't distort at that modulation and I'll buy that company's stock ASAP. Nothing wrong with it, it just goes as loud as it does before distorting.
