Squiggly Lines Status Indicator

When I pull down the status indicators at the top of the screen (to see battery level, etc), tonight I see a "3 squiggly lines" icon (dont know what else to call it) to the left of the battery level icon. This is the first time I've seen it. Wifi and Bluetooth are off. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like vibrate to me.
