Start Screen Backup

I remember vaguely somewhere mentioning that when you do a backup and restore, it does it for yoru start screen to, so that you aren't spending a bunch of time configuring start screens after a rest, is this possible in wp8.1 or is that for future updates?

it is possible now check settings > backup stuff to the cloud

there is a setting to backup.. but how do i restore.. I did a backup .. then a hard reset it started downloading my apps but didnt update the start screen. I remember seeing in the build demo that it will restore the start screen and if it is not downloaded it will show a grayed out tile.. is not happening for me

You need to turn backup on again after hard reset.

Nothing on mine has restored maybe I'm doing something wrong

You need to turn backup on again after hard reset.

My backup is already on. when I did a hard reset it asked for do you want to reset your settings then it gave me an option to select from 3 or 4 backups. One was from yesterday with all the tile arrangements. I chose that, it started all the app download but no rearrangement of tiles.
