Startech USB-C to HDMI not working

hey guys,
I got a Startech USB-C to HDMI adapter to connect my 950XL (last Insider Fast build) to the Nexdock I have laying about here but I'm getting an error to repair the connected USB-device.

The strange thing is that on my wife's Lumia 950 (running production build), it is working fine...

Any ideas?

FWIW, when I connect my 950XL to the display dock, it's working fine so my USB-C port is ok...

Sounds like a typical Insider release bug. My suggestion, get the Creator Update production build coming out tomorrow.

From the time you wrote this another update came through. If it doesn't fix the problem then yes, WDRT and get back on the latest production build. Sucks, I know. What sucks even more is that I always recommend setting up as a new phone, never restore from a backup.
