Static when video recording starts

I did do a quick search, but when I first start recording video in Nokia camera or Nokia camera beta, I get a static sound. When I use the built in camera no sound. Am I maybe missing the launch sound or something?

Yes, I have even uninstalled and reinstalled both the beta and non beta versions of the app. I also recently did a hard reset and the issue is still present.

what I found that worked pretty well was to go into settings and turn off the camera shutter sound.

actually while testing to see if mine was still making the static, i was surprised to find that mine had "fixed" itself...

I will give that a try, thanks for the suggestion. It does make me wonder if the sound that starts maybe got corrupted or something. Either way I don't really need the shutter sound.

That did do the trick and I don't really need the shutter sound...
