So the news just leaked that Valve are due to start the Steam Winter Sale 2014 from tomorrow, 26th November, through to 1st December. I figured we'd need a thread to keep track of all those deals.

I'll keep the OP updated with the latest and greatest daily deals, but until it starts sound off below with what games you're looking forward to getting your hands on in time for Christmas!

Day 6 -
Crusader Kinds II - 75% off - ?7.49
Wasteland 2 - 33% off - ?20.09
Ryse: Son of Rome - 35% off - ?22.74
XCOM Enemy Unknown - 75% off - ?3.74
Alien Isolation - 50% off - ?15.99
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - 75% off - ?2.49
Child of Light - 60% off - ?4.79
Tomb Raider - 80% off - ?2.99
The Forest - 33% off - ?7.36

Re: Steam Winter Sale 2014 Thread

Sweet! I picked up a lot of games last year during the Winter Sale, so I'm looking forward to this year's Winter Sale.

I'm interested to see what goes on sale. Have most of the games I want already though. Only Witcher 3 left on my radar. Not to mention I don't have as much time to game as I used to

I don't see Winter/Holiday Sale in my Steam. I see Steam Exploration Sale. Is this the same thing?

So true! Anything catch your eye?

I'm quite tempted by Alien Isolation on today at 50% off! Great game from what I've seen!

I didn't pick anything up personally, but I did get copies of Left 4 Dead 2 and Torchlight 2 for relatives.

Yeah. I finally wanted to pick up Skyrim (legendary Edition) but PayPal seems to have some issues (I can finally pay using direct withdrawal since I don't have a credit card) but every time I want to buy it PayPal (the redirected page from Steam) wants me to add a credit card.

Had a problem yesterday too, when I wanted to buy two other games it didn't let me buy it (it told me to enter a different way of payment). A few hours later I was able to buy them on the Steam website, but not with the Steam Client. Buying Mass Effect was no problem buying with the Steam Client but Skyrim Legendary Edition keeps getting me that "error" :-(

Maybe it's a problem with Steam+PayPal since this way of payment is new in my country.
