Steam Games

I've seen graphical glitches on some games, but pretty much anything "PC" is playable. My husband has Unity installed on his. We both use steam.

Just a note, a lot of the older games (which will change your resolution when you enter a game) will chuck a proverbial when you try to run them. The tablet ends up trying to resize the screen, then takes touch screen inputs all confused and disorientated like your finger is drunk. I guess if you choose games based on that list, you're OK.

I will however note that when you have that issue, IF the game has a "windowed mode" it will usually solve all your issues. You'll just have to deal with playing in windowed mode. Its mainly a full screen issue. Also note, that I've had games work a charm a few times. Then one day have just completely stopped liking the surface and its touch screen controls. Anomaly was one of those games and similarly, swords and soldiers HD (two games I though "oh great, these will be perfect on a tablet"). They worked just fine, then suddenly decided, nah, not working anymore :(

And if you're like me and would prefer full screen, you can try using GameCompanion(idk if it works on a surface, but I don't see why it wouldn't). It's a really simple program to use that will make windowed games fill the screen so they look full screen. Just match the window resolution with the surface's and hit ctrl+enter. Program sits in the BG so you never have to mess with it.
