Can someone with a 735 confirm this for me.

On my 1520 if I go into MSN Health and Fitness there is a "Step" counter function, this is not available on my wife's 520, I am thinking about getting the 735 for my wife as a replacement, I know she would like this function so it would be a real help if someone with a 735 could confirm this.

I don't need the step counting as I am super fit, or to be more honest I have given up caring

Found this in the comments of that unboxing -

Daniel Rubino
SensorCore is there, you'll see in the video towards the end. Good luck on the essays ;)

Sensor Core is a low powered CPU core that does special work like fitness tracking in SD400 and 800 CPUs. Maybe SD200 too ?

Basically every SD400 has the feature you are curious about: Lumia 63x, Lumia 73x and Lumia 830.

Yup, I was the one asking Daniel Rubino about Sensorcore and he confirmed it?s there. If you watch WPC?s latest coverage on 735 and that 15min video, you?ll see the Motion Data option on the screen towards the end of the video.

It seems that this is a hardware feature available on Snapdragon 400 CPUs, so any phone pre-635 doesn?t have it because they have older CPUs.

I have the Lumia 735 and I can confirm it has sensorcore, motion data menu gives you some options to collect data "basic" or "detailed".

I have a L735 and yes it has a step counter which is quite accurate when walking on hard surfaces but not so on softer surfaces, grass on a golf course is a good example a 6,300 yard course measured 2.1 miles on the step counter
