StepCounter App in WMobile store

I am using a 950XL, on the insider's fast ring.I can't find a step counter app that will count a full days steps in the background. Everything stops counting as the display shuts off, in all of the apps that I have seen.
'Windows health' has a perfect, simple daily step counter.

have you tried the Microsoft band app?, it works in the background.

"Microsoft Health" is still there, it's just called "Microsoft Band" now. It's probably your best bet.

I like Health Notes. Works great on my 950xl.
