Still Lumia 520 is a great budget phone

Is this a question or statement? Haha it's okay but it's seriously showing its age now. Performance is degrading and the battery life is terrible now. I could switch out the battery but it's not worth it when I can just buy an entirely new phone for under $20. It's a good phone and it's one of the best budget phones ever released but...I'd never get one now.

I know its old phone but as compared to Microsoft low end lumias 520 works great all apps are runing gud no touch problems and other lags which ms low end Lumia facing right now.
I think dual core processor is sufficient to run all the apps available at store the apps and games works exactly same like high end phone
Only one problem that is battery life

The best point of Lumia 520/525 is the touch screen. Its feature touch and super sensitivity with double tap to wake are the best selling points. PPI is not bad either.

Super sensitive touch is best feature of 520, you can even use it while wearing gloves.
Even slightest touch shows response..
Also my 520 used to simultaneously ring and vibrate unlike my new lumia 640...which doesn't!

I had a 520 before getting a 640, and I loved that phone. It could survive hell.

My 520 isn't loving Windows 10 Mobile but it's still about as good as Windows Phone 8.1 was. I take utmost care but the performance is degrading, just a fact of technological life.

I agree. I tried Win 10 Mobile once on my 521 and I was done with it after the first hour. It's a good product, but having less than 1 gb RAM and no front camera isn't really "great" right now but I guess it's all a matter of opinion. I stand by my opinion that the 532 is like a slight upgrade.

I did really like the size of it, and what it offered though, for 8.1, at the price point.

My 520 now mostly lay Netflix in the car for kiddo. Still great, though battery life isn't what it used to be. Might consider replacing it with a 550. Haven't tried W10 on the 520 and probably won't.

Try 535.

If you experience touch issues. Update your firmware and apply some screen protector

Normal plastic is fine. No need some expensive thing.

520 has great quality but experience wise 535 beat it. Just don't forget the screen protector
