Hey Folks,

I am still facing the heating problem. I read a lot of forums posts at nokia, ms and here and did not really find a solution.
The crazy thing is, that I already got my second Lumia 920. My first one was swapped in, because of a software error. Nevertheless I had the heating issue with my first and still be facing it with my current one.

Why are there Lumias out there who did not face this issue and why is there no fix yet.

Example:
Using the 6sec app for at least 2 mins.
Playing a game for 5-7 mins (cut the rope,...)
Playing Music and use IE

All the new smartphones get warm when you use them. They also get warm if they are searching for a signal in a bad signal area.

Some apps and games tend to make the phone warm, while the odd few make the phone very hot.

For example the other day I decided to use fhotoroom for a while and after about 5 minutes my 920 became quite hot (much hotter than what I normally experience). Keep in mind I have a CC-1043 case on and I could easily feel the heat through that, and the volume and power buttons had also become very hot. I didn't think it was supposed to get that hot so I turned off the app and let my phone just sit for a while.

It must be some kind of issue with a runaway process or some kind of software bug.

That's what everyone at Nokia and MS also said, but it is strictly unusual that the Hardware is heating up that much.
There must be some intern things going on that just cannot be right. I just don't know whether it relats on the OS, Apps or Hardware itself.

Check out your syncing stuff, like mail, facebook, etc,it might be that something is syicing continuosly

I think it has something to do with the new Krait processors. Moderate heating is fine as long as it doesnt become uncomfortable to hold.
