If you get 80004005 then you can't do anything because its a store side issue. Other than that perhaps you should soft reset your phone.

I can't get my Lumia 735 to show any store updates after I did a roll back to 8.1 yesterday (necessary since VZW voicemail app won't run on a hard W10M reset) and update first to 10586.29 and 10586.36. I tried changing display scaling and that did not help. I don't get any error message, just spinning dots after I click on "Check for updates" and then it goes back to the highlighted "check for updates" button with no updates showing. I don't get any error message so don't know if it is a store side issue, perhaps related to the change in calendar year since I did not discover this until after midnight? Is there a way to reset the store?
