I'm very glad to hear that MMS is working again for most people! Mine however STILL is giving me problems. I receive a message now when someone sends me a picture, but it just says "Get Media Content" but when I try to get it, it just loads and loads never downloading the picture itself. I have deleted all threads and reset my phone, with no help. Any suggestions?? Thanks again to everyone here.

These are the settings that are working for me...

Customer Service is not what it should be from ANY of the cellular service providers, this isn't an excuse in ST"s favor, but a slam against all of them.

As far as signal quality, I don't see how you could notice a difference, since it's the same towers, leased from Verizon/Att/Tmo/Whoever and the only difference is a ST sim in your phone ?

I've personally experimented with two verizon phones, three tmo phones, and now four att phones on the ST networks for each. There was no difference at all in cellular service between the big carriers' service and ST's, other than the price paid monthly. I settled on a nice rugged ATT branded phone, with a straighttalk sim, and have enjoyed LTE since, without issue.

AT&T is leasing the extra bandwidth on the tower, if there is high traffic on the tower, guess who is 2nd tier for that bandwidth, not the AT&T customers. We lost all lot of our lte signal while on ST. If the service works well for you, I am grateful for you. We live in an urban neighborhood that doesn't have the greatest cell coverage to begin with, but it got noticeably worse while we were on ST. My wife would lose calls in the basement all the time, but doesn't lose them (mostly) on AT&T.

Just our personal experience with ST.

yep, i can dig that being a problem.

so far, I've not seen a slow down in testing vs friends on the mother networks.... typically a faster phone will have faster data rates, but I'm usually getting a very similar rate.

this is pretty typical:

This was a very specific error on the carrier servers when they updated their system for the amount of data a plan gives customers.

Can you send MMS but not receive? That was our issue here... If you can send but not receive contact your carrier, your settings must be correct else you could not send. The issue is carrier side.

If you can NOT send or receive you need to update your MMS settings. Look up your carrier here: World Wide Mobile Phone Settings (sorry - there are many flavors of O2 {uk} so I can't just list values)

On your phone go to Settings > cellular + SIM > SIM settings .> edit MMS APN and input the values from the linked site.

I've already fixed an MMS issue by sending an MMS to myself. It worked; I have no clue why!
Wow, and here I thought I was having an issue with Windows Phone 10. Or maybe I was, but anyway, sending an MMS to myself made a lot of prior failed MMS messages downloadable. Before it would just say "media content in this message", and download would fail. Now they came back alive. Also previous messages that seemed 'solo' became part of a group. Maybe some group texting flaw borks the system? Either way, thanks!!!

This does not work for my Lumia 640 LTE with T-Mobile sim on Straight Talk. :(
I tried the suggested settings posted by RumoredNow but no joy.

I have not been able to receive MMS messages since I bought it in July. I can send them and surf the internet, but get the stupid Get Media Content message when I receive a message.

Please help!
