Streaming audio frustrations

There's so much to love about my Win8 phone (Lumia 920), especially now that it has swype! But there is one frustrating thing that keeps me popping my SIM card back to my Galaxy S4 - streaming audio. Do Win8 phones have an inherent issue with streaming audio? My Galaxy just does it right. But on my Windows phone, streaming audio cuts out, pauses, quits, and just is not reliable. The application does not matter -- TuneIn, IHeartRadio, MLB Gameday Audio, Rhapsody, even the native Nokia Music app.

Does anybody else have this frustration?

I don't listen to music a lot on my phone, but when I do, I do see this problem. I don't know what the solution is, though.

My 925 doesn't experience any of these issues on either 8 or 8.1. I stream from Spotify, Slacker, or Nokia (needs to be offline stored music) to a Pioneer deh-p9400bh. Music will "cut" only long enough for a notification or gps directive to come through, then comes back on.
